Jordan Oss

Art Practices

Jordan Oss was born in Denver, Colorado in 1999. As a child, Jordan was fascinated by dragons, robots, and anything fictitious. Art became his outlet into his own, made-up world free of homework and adults. After graduating high school, Jordan studied psychology and art at The College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio. After his sophomore year, he transferred back home to Denver where he will graduate with an Art Practices degree in August 2022. Jordan primarily works in charcoal, graphite, and digital painting programs. He is greatly inspired by the science fiction and fantasy worlds of movies and literature, such as Frank Herbert’s Dune, and Andrzej Sapkowski’s The Witcher. His work has been shown most recently at Denver’s Pirate Art Gallery in the “Outsider Show”, and the Emmanuel Art Gallery’s “Guilty!”.
